What is Stone City?

Stone City is a Chicago-based, privately held natural stone supplier, fabricator, and design center. We operate a 25,000 sq ft showroom and the largest automated stone fabrication facility in the Midwest, with over 1,000,000 sq ft of stone available through our supplier network — including select Vermont marble through a longstanding quarry supply partnership. We sell to homeowners, designers, architects, builders, and trade professionals — and we handle residential and commercial projects from concept to install.

Residential and commercial — single source.

Stone City is your single source for kitchen and bath improvement projects. We carry granite, marble, quartzite, and quartz, plus cabinetry, faucets, fixtures, and appliances. Whatever the project needs, we have it under one roof.

Coordination is easier when your design center handles every step. Your consultant builds a 3D design from your measurements and selected stone, lets you iterate on it, and turns it over to our fabricators only when it’s right. From selecting stone off our floor to the final install, the same team is accountable end to end.

For commercial work and trade professionals, we’re a stone fabrication and supply partner with the throughput to handle large runs and custom stone elements like medallions, fireplace surrounds, and full-floor installs.

Engineers, designers, craftsmen — one team.

Stone City’s in-house team includes professional designers, architects, engineers, and skilled craftsmen. From custom medallions to full kitchen renovations, the same group walks every project from concept through install.

Most stone yards hand off your slab to an outside fabricator after selection. We don’t. The yard, the fab shop, and the install crew all share an office.
